Yogesh Bhusal is Ph.D. candidate at UC Solar - Winston lab at UC Merced. His research interests lies in nonimaging optics and its application in development of low cost solar collectors for applications ranging from 200 C-650 C. Bhusal is working under Dr. Roland Winston to develop a two-stage high concentration parabolic trough collector for 650 C applications with improved solar to thermal efficiency.
