Bio: 
Shusmita Saha started her Ph.D. at UC Merced in Fall 2020, under the supervision of Prof. Jeanette Cobian-Iñiguez. Her research focuses on wildland fire dynamics with the goal to study wildland fire behavior from laboratory to regional scale. Her present research approach is to investigate the influences of different parameters on wildland fuel ignition through designed laboratory experiments.
