UC Merced Graduate Student Receives Dr. Donald and Effie Godbold Award

The Department of Mechanical Engineering Ph.D. student Jacques-Ezechiel N’Guessan is honored with the prestigious Dr. Donald and Effie Godbold Fellowship Award.

This award recognizes international graduate students who contribute a unique perspective to our community through their research scholarship and service. Mr. N’Guessan’s research on prosthetic legs and rehabilitation sets an exemplary precedent on how mechanical engineering concepts can be applied to health science. Mr. N’Guessan has also contributed innovative methods in teaching through his unique philosophies.
